    On Saturday 29th June 2019, it was time to take our annual family holiday (my boyfriend's family and me). This year we ventured to Ireland. We stayed in a lovely house in Lough Gowna. The plan was to do as much as we could in a week.

    On the 2nd September 2015, my boyfriend, Andy and I decided to take a trip to Edinburgh during our holiday in Scotland. We were staying in this a quaint little house in Drumelzier, which is about a 40 minute drive from the capital so it was a great opportunity.

    Anne Frank’s Huis -Adult Price = 9€ On Saturday 4th July, my friends and I ventured to Anne Frank’s Huis. We waited in a queue under the 33°C sunshine for two hours to see this famous landmark, and it was worth it. Anne Frank’s Huis is an important and sobering experience. No matter how many times you read the book, see the films, watch the play, nothing compares to visiting the actual sight. The artefacts are well displayed and protected by glass casings in order to preserve them. Understandably, they request that no photos be taken inside the house, as it can be an emotional experience for people who are visiting.…

    Travelling to Amsterdam

    The first weekend of July I took a trip with my three best friends to Amsterdam. This was my first holiday abroad in 11 years and the first one without my family. Was I nervous? Of course I was. I trusted my friends completely but I was worried about being in a different country, which spoke a foreign language and used different currency.

    Exploring Sheffield

    Since starting university in September I've become slack with my photography. I wish I hadn't because I love exploring by myself and discovering hidden gems in different cities. Due to the lovely snowfall that happened a few days ago my usual Friday morning lesson was cancelled, much to my annoyance.
