Welcome to another Music Monday where I introduce you to some music that I love.
Glee introduced me to Billy Lewis Jr, but his voice is what got me seeking out whether he’s still producing music. I stumbled across Landslide during my searches.
Landslide by Billy Lewis Jr
Lyrics
I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry
I didn’t hear your head shake
It was a yes or no question
I did not ask it for my sake
Unlikely enemy
You sunk you way into my skin
You weaseled your way
Deep down inside
And you’re bleeding me dry from within
I know
Too much power can be bittersweet
And no
I’ll never bow down at your feet
Do you even hear what you’re saying?
Anymore, anymore, anymore
Drink, drank, drunk
You’re beginning to slur your words
Your tongue is conspiring against you
Because it’s just sick of the filth that’s been heard
And from that hole in your face
Fall the lies that you spew
They’re burying you
Right up to your neck
So you still have to suffer the view
Do you even hear what you’re saying?
Anymore, Anymore, Anymore
You’re just a LANDSLIDE
Bringing me down with you
You’re just a LANDSLIDE
Destroy whatever you run through
You’re just a landslide
Bringing me down with you
You’re just a LANDSLIDE
Destroy whatever you run through
Do you even hear what you’re saying?
Anymore, anymore, anymore
You’re just a LANDSLIDE
Bringing me down with you
You’re just a LANDSLIDE
Destroy whatever you run through
You’re just a landslide
Bringing me down with you
You’re just a LANDSLIDE
Destroy whatever you run through
Do you even hear what you’re saying?
Anymore, anymore, anymore
