Today I’m going to do this book tag. I wasn’t tagged in it but I really wanted to take part and do a festive book tag. It was originally created by Jen over at Jenniely so please credit her if you do this tag.
The aim of this tag is to answer the questions to find out whether you’re on Santa’s Naughty or Nice list.
Received an ARC but not reviewed it

I have, I had a couple of ARCs that I DNF’d for various reasons but there are others that I have been meaning to read but I just haven’t gotten around to it.
Have less than 60% feedback rating on NetGalley

I’ve worked on getting it to 70% and having it stay at that rating. I’m planning on getting this even higher soon. Watch this space.
Rated a book on Goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did)

I used to only post reviews on Goodreads, when I started to be more active on my blog I posted a link to the review on my Goodreads. So there was never a promise of one that never came.
Folded down the page of a book
NO
I take good care of my books, so I don’t like to see the pages folded down. The only books on my shelves that previously had pages folded down were ones I bought from charity shops.
Accidentally spilt on a book
YES
It’s never been a drink! I have a habit of reading it the bath and I have a ledge next to the bath where I put the book but occasionally the water from my bath spills over onto the book.
DNF a book this year
YES
It sounds bad, but I don’t have time to read books that I’m not interested in. If I find that I’m not enjoying a book, I will DNF it. Sometimes, I will revisit them at a later date, but the ones this year have been neatly put to one side to donate to charity when my local shops are accepting donations again.
Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it

I will only buy books if I intend to read them. The prettiness of the cover may have drawn me in, but I will always read it. I think buying a book without ever intending to read is a waste both of a book that could be phenomenal and money.
Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework)

Guilty! I have occasionally found myself reading my book when it was quiet at work. I also used to read something I was interested in, rather than the books I was supposed to be reading for my university assignments.
Skim read a book

No, I like to engross myself in a story, if I ever find myself wanting to skim read it then I’m not fully invested and would probably put it aside.
Completely missed your Goodreads goal
NO
No, I will always up my goal if I find myself about to beat it. I set myself a target of 100 books this year and so far I’ve read 184.
Borrowed a book and not returned it

It annoys me when people do this to me, so I could never return the favour.
Broke a book buying ban
YES
While I deny this, my boyfriend happily told me that I have frequently broken this ban…and he is right. I put myself on a ban and told him to make sure I don’t buy anymore and then I proceed to sneak them in the house when he was at work.
Started a review, left it for ages and then forgot what the book was about

I will always ensure that I can finish a review that I’m writing so I’ve never forgotten what the book was about.
Wrote in a book you were reading

I really don’t like writing in books. I was told I had to this when I was doing my English A Level and I refused. I didn’t want to deface the book even if I wasn’t enjoying it. Sometimes I do like seeing people’s opinions in books but only if its an academic text, not if its a book I’ve never read before and I definitely couldn’t do it to my own books.

Dodged someone asking if they can borrow a book
YES
I very very rarely will lend my books out, I’ve had instances where they weren’t returned. I will only rent them out really to people who I know will take care of them.
Broke the spine of someone else’s book

I try not to break the spine on my own books, so why would I do it to someone else’s?
Took the jacket off a book to protect it and ended up making it more damaged

I’ve done this so many times its not even funny or sometimes I misplace the book jacket because its buried under a pile of books I’ve added to the pile of books to read.
Sat on a book accidentally
YES
All the damn time. I often leave my book on the sofa, chair, in my bed and forget that it’s there and end up sitting (or laying) on it. More often than not it’s my boyfriend who ends up sitting or laying on it because I fall asleep with the book on his side of the bed.
