Theme of the Box
Description by Book Box Club
Introducing our theme for August 2020: MOONLIT MELODIES!
Night has fallen. The sky is ablaze with moonlight. A gentle breeze carries the soft eerie notes of a lone guitar… This August prepare to celebrate midnight musical meet-ups and celestial symphonies!
Our featured read for August is a magically gothic novel set in the deep pinewoods of Florida. It tells the story of a young girl with music in her soul and a dangerous secret; her melodies have the power to call ghosts out of the shadows. This haunting gift may help her to solve an age-old family mystery or compel her to follow her past further into the darkness.

Featured Books : Ghost Wood Song by Erica Waters
This month they created a Spotify playlist with all the songs that were within the book. You can check it out here: https://spoti.fi/2DcgJxc
Shady Grove inherited her father’s ability to call ghosts from the grave with his fiddle, but she also knows the fiddle’s tunes bring nothing but trouble and darkness.
But when her brother is accused of murder, she can’t let the dead keep their secrets.
In order to clear his name, she’s going to have to make those ghosts sing.
I loved the door sign, and I immediately put it in the room I keep my books in. It was really the only thing that I really loved.
