Flight

Soaring high above the lights,
A city dances below.
Skyscrapers and office blocks
houses and stadiums.
Streetlamps and taillights
Flashes of the unknown.
Interwoven streets and long roads
hidden jennels and avenues.
Tiny specks walk the streets,
and woolly ones gather in fields.
A windmill, a farmhouse
I can see it all from here.
Here among the clouds,
I am home.
Drifting into the sun.
