My Review:
This manga is really cute and I am glad that I picked it up. It centres around photography, with a romantic element. I must admit the fact that it features photography was what drew me into this short series.
It follows three characters, mainly from Mako’s perspective who has joined her childhood best friend, Kei at his high school which has a great photography club.
On her first day in town, she snaps a picture of Mitsuru, who did not want to be snapped. He has his reasons, and it is revealed in the manga which I’ll let you find out. You can probably hazard a guess where the romance blooms and triangles form.
I do wish that this manga was longer; I really enjoyed the narrative and would’ve loved to see more of a slow-burn romance rather than it all being wrapped up in three volumes. That doesn’t detract however from this being a great series and how much I loved the focus on the love of photography.
I really enjoy Nogiri’s art style. It’s solid throughout the series, and Nogiri is great at showcasing the characters subtle expressions. Don’t get me started on how fantastically drawn the scenery is within this series. I plan to read more of their work so watch this space for more reviews.
